Steven Feinartz is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker, originally from Chicago. His first feature film, The Bitter Buddha played at Slamdance and had a theatrical release in 2013. He has produced and directed over 15 comedy specials and series for Netflix, Comedy Central, Fusion, Starz and Showtime; which include Matt Braunger: Big Dumb Animal, Eddie Pepitone: In Ruins, Sklar Brothers: Hipster Ghosts, The Comedy Show Show and SXSW Comedy with Natasha Leggero. He directed the Trump vs. Bernie sketch specials for Fusion, and a documentary series pilot for Conaco and TBS entitled The Road. He created and directed a new scripted series for Facebook Watch, entitled Please Understand Me. In 2020, he directed and produced Bill Burr Presents The Ringers, a new series for Comedy Central. In addition, he directed a commercial on the 2020 Super Bowl for Fox Sports.
