Steven Feinartz is an LA-based filmmaker, originally from Chicago. His first feature film, “The Bitter Buddha” played at Slamdance and had a theatrical release in 2013.  He has Directed and Produced over 20 specials and series for Netflix, Comedy Central, Showtime and HBO; including “Bill Burr Presents The Ringers” and the Sarah Silverman-Produced series “Please Understand Me.” Steven has written and directed multiple short films including the Vimeo Staff Pick "The Lot." He has directed numerous ads for Netflix, as well as commercials for Audible, Tuft & Needle and a Super Bowl Commercial for Fox Sports in 2020. Recently, he directed the HBO Special, “Marc Maron: From Bleak to Dark” that was chosen as the Best Comedy Special of 2023 by Vulture. His Feature Documentary “Are We Good?” had the World Premiere at the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival.
